
Ken Schmidt is an investment advisor representative. With 40 years of experience in the financial industry, Ken provides comprehensive financial planning services to clients of all ages and economic backgrounds striving to secure the financial future of every individual and family. Ken received his law degree from the University of Oregon (JD). Ken received his B.A. from Northwest Nazarene University. Ken holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designations. Ken also received a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College.
Ken maintains and exceeds the minimum continuing education standards required to maintain his CFP® certification and is a member of the American, Indiana and Allen County Bar Associations, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Financial Planning Association. Ken is a Registered Representative with Osaic Wealth, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC, a registered broker-dealer.
Ken has a passion for equipping the next generation for leadership and success. He is a Director on the board of Northwest Nazarene University Foundation and a Trustee on the Olivet Nazarene University Board of Trustees.
Living in Fort Wayne since 1979, Ken has successfully raised two grown children with his wife, Robin, of 40 years. In his time away from the office, Ken enjoys hitting the ski slopes, training for half-marathons, and reading about a widely diverse spectrum of topics.
